Our round crappie jig heads come in three sizes: 1/32 oz, 1/16 oz, and 1/8 oz. We offer them with or without collars. All come with Matzuo Sickle Hooks. The 1/32 oz has size 6 hooks, the 1/16 oz has size 4 hooks, and the 1/8 oz has size 2 hooks. Like all our jigs, these unpainted jig heads are lead-free, made from our special bismuth alloy.
Important Note: Our bismuth alloy melts at a much lower temperature than lead. If you powder paint these jig heads, you must use great care not to get them too hot. We have worked out our own process for powder painting these jig heads, but we don't have control over your process, so cannot be responsible for jig heads that you melt. If you want powder painted heads but have any reservations about painting them yourself, please buy our already painted heads, instead.

Fishing Tip: These two jig heads give you lots of options. Crappie jig heads without collars are most often used for tying jigs, while the jig heads with collars are used for plastic trailers. Some anglers use plastic trailers on the jig heads without collars though, or superglue their plastics onto them, and others file the barb off the collar version and use them that way. Use them any way you like. Be sure to heed the warning above about using powder paint on these jig heads, though. 1/8 oz unpainted heads without the collars are also our favorite way to fish minnows these days, too.
